The committee have met to discuss our AGM.  We considered three options:

  • We hold AGM virtually (i.e. Zoom)
  • We wait and have our AGM in public
  • We carry over the committee in place and as a whole until June 2021

The decision agreed is for the committee to carry on until 2021.

The Club’s annual accounts were prepared and audited in readiness for our AGM.  If any club member, who has paid the appropriate annual subscription, wishes to have sight of the audited accounts please contact our Treasurer, Peter McCarroll.

Regarding playing rugby again; we are heeding the advice of the SRU.  We have appointed a Covid Co-Ordinator, Peter Dominy who has taken on this responsibility to oversee the safe return to training and ultimately playing again.  We are in contact regularly with the SRU regarding what the season for 20/21 may look like, but this is still under review.  We will update you all as soon as we have further news.

The new Lochshore Community Visitor Hub is going ahead, albeit with a slight delay to start date – this is now anticipated that works will commence in January 2021.

I hope that you and your families are all well, and coping with the restrictions of new normal and I hope to see you all at Lochshore in the near future.

If you would like to discuss any of the above please do not hesitate to contact me.

With very best wishes, Trish Wallace (President
